1. Who We Are

XERIA is a software product focused on secure document distribution, PDF watermarking, batch processing, traceability, and related productivity workflows.

2. Information We May Collect

XERIA may collect limited categories of information such as:

• name, email address, purchase-related, support, or licensing information you provide;
• application version, device or installation identifiers, operating system details, and license status;
• diagnostic and error data needed to improve reliability and troubleshoot issues;
• basic product analytics such as general region or country, high-level feature usage, and license duration or plan category.

Payment card or payment account details are handled by the applicable payment provider during checkout. We do not require or store full payment card details in the XERIA application.

3. Local Document Processing

XERIA is designed so that normal document processing takes place locally on the user’s device. We do not upload, transmit, store, or analyze document contents on our servers as part of ordinary in-app document processing.

XERIA does not collect or transmit document-level content data such as file contents, page contents, file names, watermark text, watermark type, or similar processing details to our servers as part of ordinary document processing.

4. Cloud Storage and Email Connections

If you connect a third-party provider such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, Gmail, or Microsoft email services, XERIA uses the access required to perform actions you explicitly request, such as selecting a file, saving an output file, or sending a document.

XERIA does not use your cloud file contents for advertising. We also do not process document contents on our servers simply because a cloud or email connection is enabled.

• to provide, operate, license, and support XERIA;
• to process purchases, deliver licenses, and manage license activation;
• to send transactional communications relating to purchases, licenses, or support;
• to improve performance, reliability, and security;
• to understand high-level product usage and improve commonly used features;
• to detect abuse, fraud, licensing violations, or unauthorized use;
• to comply with legal obligations.

6. Telemetry and Analytics

XERIA may collect limited telemetry and analytics data for statistical purposes, product improvement, reliability monitoring, and understanding which features are used most often.

This may include general region or country information, app version, feature usage events, license plan or duration category, and diagnostic information. This telemetry is intended to improve the product and is not used to read or profile document content.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary with:

• payment and transaction service providers, including Paddle where purchases are made through Paddle checkout and Paddle acts as merchant of record for the transaction;
• hosting, email, licensing, or infrastructure providers;
• analytics or diagnostic providers;
• legal authorities where required by law.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for licensing, support, security, legal, accounting, or operational purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle.
